About

Trond is Associate Professor in the Department og Computer and Information Science, Data and Information Management Group. The main field of research is methods and techniques to make content available, searchable and accessible in the context of user needs. The focus of current research is semantic description of contents using metadata and ontologies, search services that utilize metadata and ontologies to facilitate explorative search strategies, reuse of metadata in the broader context of the semantic web, crowdsourcing and collaborative creation of metadata and ontologies.
