The Freemium model is best known in Apps for mobile phones. While the basis version is free, the premium version costs.
Given the big success of the freemium model in mobile apps, it is a question why we we still don't see the freemium model for access:
Free access to information, and premium access to broadband services, would show provide everyone with the free access to information on the Internet, and thus encourage people to see the advances coming from the information on the Internet. This vision of Internet_lite is brought into the discussion by the Basic Internet Foundation.
