Secure-NOK is a Norwegian security company that focuses on cyber security for control systems and critical infrastructure. The company has an international focus and has offices at Hamar and in Houston, Texas. Secure-NOK has developed a technology for detection of security attacks in control systems and critical infrastructure called SNOK® Cybersecurity Monitoring System. Their technology is based on behavioral anomaly detection and is specially designed for control systems. In practice, this means that their technology does not need access to the Internet to detect new viruses and cyber attacks, it uses very little resources and can run on old / legacy machines, programmable logical management (PLS) and other equipment used in control systems, and that it requires only one-way communication, i.e., only communication out of the control system.
