Objective	This talk will present a high-level introduction: presenting Telenor, the Telenor Research unit, and the connections to Big Data. This will be done in two ways: first a very short and high-level history of Big Data at Telenor, followed by highlights of several research activities, relevant to this theme, that are ongoing at Telenor.
