Property:Related

This is a property of type Page.

It records a non-hierarchical association between two keywords, in the sense of skos:related: the two terms are connected, but neither is a parent of the other.

Use it when the terms are siblings, complements or frequently co-occur — CAPEX and OPEX, 5G and Network Slicing. If one term is genuinely a kind of the other, use Property:Broader instead.

The relation is conceptually symmetric, so record it on whichever of the two pages you happen to be editing; query both directions with [[Related::X]] OR [[-Related::X]].

Before the September 2026 taxonomy split this role was carried by Property:Keywords, which meant "page is tagged with topic" and "term is related to term" were the same statement and could not be told apart.

Filter<p>The <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Property_page/Filter">search filter</a> allows the inclusion of <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Query_expressions">query expressions</a> such as <code>~</code> or <code>!</code>. The selected <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Query_engine">query engine</a> might also support case insensitive matching or other short expressions like:</p><ul><li><code>in:</code> result should include the term, e.g. '<code>in:Foo</code>'</li></ul><ul><li><code>not:</code> result should to not include the term, e.g. '<code>not:Bar</code>'</li></ul>
